I seem to have so many blogs about other things - tall buildings, solar panels, ecohouses, etc that it's time to have one about family life. And this is more about the David and Sally life, our theatre going and weekend visits. Enjoy.

Pottery workshop, making the Chrysler gargoyle
10.6.17 I went to pottery workshop organised by Fran Bailey, and tried to make a gargoyle of the Chrysler building. The general theme was to do a bird on top of a pedestal. I got it nearly finished as a single piece and then dropped it so I had to start again and decided that it would be better made in three parts, five separately and then clicked together. Let's hope that they still fit together when the clay has shrunk and been fired.

A walk in the woods on 4 June
Usually, Sally stays in bed, but she made a big effort to get up today and I made an equally big effort to push her up the hill to the woods above the house.

Cycle around Bennerley viaduct
6.5.17 Raleigh invited people to go out and enjoy a 6 mile ride on electric pedal bikes to Bennerley viaduct and back. I am already convinced about Ebikes, and these new technology ones are pretty good.
